Great Lakes Christian College
"Now, more than ever, we need to do all we can to make sure that in our civilization there are those who know who they are and what they believe."
Larry Carter GLCC President
As a Christian academic community, GLCC’s task is to educate men and women for preaching and other ministry roles as well as for careers related to the church or institutions in the public sector. In all instances, preparing students to be servant-leaders is central to the Colleges’ founding character, history, curriculum and campus ethos.

Bill Loft Mission, Inc.
The Lofts became the first missionaries from the Church of Christ in the Amazon Valley in 1952. They worked there for 6 years until they were called to pioneer the work in Brasilia. They labored there for 11 years. From there they went to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic before settling in Southeastern Spain in 1986. Bill Loft passed away in 1989, and his wife, Ginny, carried on the work.
While Ginny is now back in the States due to medical issues, the work goes on in Spain under the leadership of Dr. Erick Gutierrez (originally from Nicaragua). Spain is the link between Europe and Africa. They work with a lot of Muslim immigrants and show them the love of God tangibly by teaching them language and cultural skills.

Billy & Bette Loft
Latin American Ministries
"Our mission is a church planting organization that has started 118 churches in seven countries since 1979. We began our work in Puerto Rico and continued on to the Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. While in Nicaragua we planted one of the largest Christian Churches in Central America in the capitol city of Managua. We are passionately committed to training new leaders to advance the Gospel message of Jesus. It is our determination to develop ministry in the major cities of Paraguay and Bolivia where there are currently no Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. We truly believe that God is opening new doors to these nations as He leads us to those people who will be the leaders for training." Copied from their site 08/08/10
